Windows Live Messenger 2011 Beta to be released in June

Microsoft has revealed that they would launch a public beta of their upcoming update to the Live Messenger in June this year.

Windows Live Messenger 2011 is going to be a major update to Microsoft’s instant messaging service. It would be more social as it would support a variety of third party social networking services like Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn.

The company stated that this version would add support for HD video conferencing which is becoming usable with current broadband speeds.
